Cooking Instructions

Three different ways
  • Product must be fully cooked before eating. Cooking times are a guide and may vary depending on your appliance. We suggest using a meat thermometer. Chicken should be fully cooked when pierced and juices run clear, and when the internal temperature reaches 82ºC. Please ensure the thermometer is placed in the deepest part of the chicken.
  • After cooking, remove the chicken from the oven and allow 10 minutes to rest before carving.
Storage
KEEP FROZEN AT OR BELOW -18ºC
Thaw
Thaw in the refrigerator for approximately 18 hours per kg. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
Fan-forced Oven
Thaw chicken before cooking. Preheat fan forced oven to 160°C (Conventional oven 180°C). Remove chicken from the packaging. Place the chicken breast side up on a roasting dish. Cook for 25-30 minutes per 500g or until cooked through. Baste the chicken with cooking juices halfway through cooking.
