Dual Trade Technician - Tuakau

Hours of work 6.00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday, availability to be on call will be discussed as part of House Package

As a Dual Trade Technician, your role is to maintain both mechanical and electrical components of the Hatchery. With many moving parts this role will see you actively supporting the Hatchery Team to ensure there are minimal disruptions day by day. Other responsibilities include;

• Preparing capital expenditure requests in conjunction with the Hatchery Manager.
• General Machine maintenance including calibration, fan speeds, heaters etc.
• Completing checks including element current checks, hatchery/setter checks, trolley checks and air pressure checks.
• Completing problem-solving and diagnostics on machinery.
• Managing all contractors that come onto site.

To be successful in this role:

• You will be an Engineering/Electrician Trade or Qualification essential.
• Previous Mechanical experience within a similar industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• You will be reliable and punctual.

This role is a busy but rewarding one, so having excellent attention to detail and time management will be essential.
