We are a fully integrated farming, primary and further processing poultry production business focused on quality and safety. As the Talent Acquisition Lead, your role will involve leading the recruitment function for the New Zealand business operations as well as owning your own recruitment portfolio. You will be someone with a passion for people and seeking out talented individuals to bring into the Inghams team! Not only this, but you will be someone who engages in projects to strengthen brand awareness and the overall employee experience that will build on the reputation of Inghams being an Employer of Choice. With many moving parts this role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives on a challenge and is driven to succeed.

What we really need is someone who can; 

  • Think strategically about recruitment and the overall part you play in business success
  • Manage the end to end  salaried recruitment process
  • Proactively contact passive candidates and build a candidate talent pool for future opportunities
  • Partner with tertiary providers to cement Inghams as a career pathway
  • Provide support to managers during the recruitment process, provide ongoing communication and candidate care
  • Assisting with building and maintaining relationships with local companies assisting individuals into work
  • Assist with initiatives to increase Ingham’s ‘Employer visibility’

 You will;

  • Be passionate about the recruitment function and eager to get stuck in
  • Have proven problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Ideally have extensive experience within a recruitment role and high volume recruitment
  • Have strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Have a Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (beneficial)

This role is very fast paced so having excellent attention to detail and time management will be essential.
