Ingham’s is committed to finding ways to reduce waste by recycling and reusing many of our products and waste materials.
In terms of waste minimisation, Ingham’s is committed to the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle and recover. In recognition of this, Ingham’s aims to achieve zero waste to landfill by eliminating waste going to landfill by continuing to follow best practice and decreasing all non-recyclable and solid wastes. We have already made significant reductions in the quantity of waste going to landfill.
Some of our sites have already progressed well down this path slashing waste to landfill by 50% and diverting more than 90% of waste away from landfill to beneficial reuse or recycling.
